Fred Wright was a professional photographer who worked from around 1900 until his death in 1943. In the 1920s and '30s he took numerous photos around Oak Park and River Forest as well as Chicago. He was also a member of the Oak Park Camera Club. A large number of his glass plate negatives were donated to The Historical Society of Oak Park and River Forest.
